Bill Congdon now offers Affordable Airport Transportation Services at the Delaware Beach! Since the beginning of the pandemic era, Bill wanted to do his part helping the country keep moving, help keep people safe and help us get back outside again and get back on our feet.
I began by stepping my toes into the gig-worker's pond, sub-contracting for several transportation and delivery firms. This helped me get out of the house, as drivers, delivering for DOORDASH, UberEATS, Roadie and other similar companies; you were considered an "Essential Worker".
Bill began driving people for Uber and Lyft and used those experiences to get this business up and running right - We are NOT Uber or Lyft - we offer a premium airport car service, driving our clients to all the surrounding Delaware airports. We are located in Lewes Delaware but happily provide a ride to the airport for those in Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, Milton, Long Neck, Millsboro, Harbeson, Georgetown and other Sussex County towns. Need a ride from Delaware to the airport? PHL, BWI, DCA, SBY, Dulles, Wilmington. We also take many clients to the Amtrak Train Stations Biden Station, Wilmington Delaware, 30th Street Station, Philadelphia and Penn Station, Baltimore Maryland.
Once there were vaccines in place, I began driving people too, this I feel in love with, quickly. I really enjoy meeting new people, learning about their background, finding our common ground and while being open and friendly, laying the groundwork for a growing mutually beneficial business relationship. I always want to ensure everyone I drive, will be a regular customer in the future and I truly want them to be another happy client. I've met some outstanding people along the way; and now have several people who I can say they are now truly "friends".
As a local pioneer and leader in this new economy; where one person could work for several companies at the same time. I was shopping for and delivering groceries from Acme, Safeway and Weis Markets. Literally delivered for over 150 local restaurants from McDonald's to Outback to DiFebo’s; picking up and delivering fast food, or as a full service waiter/delivery driver; taking calls and orders, calling and contacting fine dining restaurants, and even picked up Wawa or Starbuck's coffee for the office, or Baskin Robbin's ice cream, Rita's water ice or snacks from almost anywhere for "family movie night". I've delivered pet food - not for just dogs and cats, but for horses, chickens, roosters, Guinea pigs, auto parts, home improvement supplies from Home Depot, in addition to client's essential prescriptions from Walgreen's, CVS, Rite Aid.
Bill has embraced these changes and opportunities utilizing his business knowledge, innovation and technology.
